Hydrogenerators for hydroelectric power plants

• synchronous vertical hydro generators up to 660 MW;
• synchronous vertical hydrogen generators-motors up to 500 MW;
• horizontal capsule hydrogen generators up to 40 MW;
• electric motors for drives of pumping units of 2.5-8 MW.

Since 1954, plant began to master production of hydrogenerators.

Enterprise designs and manufactures hydrogenerators with capacity up to 660 MW and reversible hydrogenerators-motor with capacity up to 500 MW:

Hydrogenerators are used to generate electricity at hydro power plants (HPP), and hydrogenerators-motors - at hydro pumped storage power plants (HPSPP). Enterprise works on improvement and creation of new designs of hydrogenerators, and there are research and experimental laboratories.

In production process, generators are subjected to comprehensive control and numerous tests at various stages of production.

Plant is constantly in process of improving methods of testing and researching generators with the use of modern computer systems for measuring thermal, electrical, and vibrational parameters. Quality management system has been implemented.

Plant also provides supervision of installation and commissioning services for hydrogenerator equipment and service during operation:

supply of spare parts;

direct participation of enterprise's specialists in repair works: departure of group of highly qualified workers to eliminate malfunctions;

inspection of technical condition and diagnostics: visual and instrumental inspection of equipment and conducting tests;

modernization of equipment is carried out to increase service life of equipment, improve quality characteristics or extend maintenance period.
