Central Works Laboratory has capabilities for:
- chemical analysis of carbon and alloyed steels,alloys on copper, alluminium and nickel bases;
- determine content of nitrogen and oxigen in metal;
- test of mechanical properties of metals and elements including at increased temperatures;
- ultrasonic, magnetic, eddy current, capillary, radiography control of castings, forgings and weld joints including large elements;
- control products quality under the following criteria: heat resistance, long-term strength, creep strength, relaxation stability;
- determination of guaranteed characteristics of heat resistance for a given period of life - applying modern programmed methods
