The equipment for Kanev HPP

The enterprise manufactured and shipped the equipment in full for Kanev HPP (station No. 16)

In particular, in December 2017 PJSC “Turboatom” produced parts of the guide vanes of the hydroturbine. On the eve the equipment was handed over to the customer. In his presence, “Turboatom” specialists carried out a control assembly of equipment and performed functional tests, which resulted in the signing of an acceptance certificate.

The project of modernization of a horizontal capsular hydroturbine with the installation of a new runner and guide vanes is being implemented at Kanev HPP. After the upgrade, a new high-performance rotary-blade runner with a diameter of 6 m with an updated blade system will be installed at tHPP, as well as a guide vanes equipped with new blades with an improved profile. After the reconstruction, the power of the hydroelectric unit will increase from 19.2 MW to 23 MW, as well as the reliability and durability of the turbine.

The scope of obligations of "Turboatom" also includes supervision and technical management of works.
