28 February 2018, Economic Court of Dniprovsk Region granted claim of PJSC "Turboatom" to State Enterprise "Scientific Research and Design-Technological Institute of Pipe Industry named after Y. E. Osada."
Court decided to satisfy claim of "Turboatom" to the institute on protection of business reputation by refuting widespread unreliable information and collecting moral damages in amount of 1.00 hryivn.
4 October 2016, Director of Pipe Institute Radomir Korol at conference initiated by him streamed on Internet site on Interfax-Ukraine website in article noted untrue facts regarding purchase of welded pipes by "Turboatom" for manufacture of turbine condensers at nuclear power plants of SE "NNEGC "Energoatom" at foreign manufacturer.
Court acknowledged that information spreading by Radomir Korol about "Turboatom", which in its turn proved that it holds financial discipline during course of economic activity, is untrue, is unreliable and degrades business reputation of the enterprise. Conducted expert assessment of capabilities of Ukrainian manufacturer confirmed impossibility of producing pipes with necessary technical characteristics in necessary quantities and in established terms (according to terms of customer tender).
According to decision of court, institute must refute inaccurate information no later than next month from day when court decision entered into legal force in the same way as it was distributed, as well as pay 1.00 hryivn. in respect of non-pecuniary damage.
