At JSC "Turboatom" awarded participants of the city contest "Young Man of the Year"

At the end of June at JSC "Turboatom" took place awarding of turbine constructors, who became laureates and winners of district stage of city competition "Young Man of the Year".

Awarding of employees of "Turboatom" took place in presence of representatives of Directorate of the plant, Trade Union and city authorities. Awards were presented by Head of Department for Family and Youth Affairs Alina Pomazan and Head of Committee for Family, Youth and Sports Affairs in Nemyshlya district Vyacheslav Grun.

Awarding took place directly in workshops, at workplaces of the laureates. Representatives of Department insisted on this decision that gave solemnity moment.

In assembly and testing workshop No73, where was the beginning of award, his awards received laureate in nomination "Activities in field of production and entrepreneurship", mechanic of machine assembly works of workshop No 73 Denys Romanyuk and winner in nomination "Scientific activity", Deputy Head of Department for thermal and strength calculations of SDB "TA" Igor Palkov.

At the beginning of award, Alina Pomazan addressed audience with salutatory word. "I am very grateful to you for such warm welcome, - she began. - Our youth is our future it is powerful locomotive that moves country forward in development. Therefore, I sincerely congratulate the winners on their victory and wish all the staff and leadership of "Turboatom" wellbeing, large and interesting projects, prosperity and faith in their strength."

After that, delegation visited the steam-turbine workshop No 53, where two more workers of the plant were awarded. Diploma of the winner of district stage of the city contest "Young Man of the Year" in nomination "Activity in field of production, entrepreneurship" went to Sergiy Shamarin, boring turner of workshop No 53, and Diploma of the winner of the same nomination received turner-carousel of workshop No 53 Maxym Khyzhko.

In addition to diplomas, the winners of district stage also received commemorative awards.

Now the turbine constructors are waiting for the second city stage of the competition, results of which will be summed up on 10 September.

Contest "Young Man of the Year" was founded in 2001. For 18 years of existence more than 6 thousand people participated in it. The purpose of competition is to support gifted and talented youth, its achievements in various spheres of social and cultural life.
