Equipment for Zaporizhzhya NPP is fully shipped

In the first ten-day period of July, JSC "Turboatom" completely shipped equipment for Zaporizhzhya NPP.

Last set of 6 modules of casing No. 3 of Zaporizhzhya NPP was shipped to power plant in early July. Thus, equipment is completed and shipped 100%, and orders in production are closed in compliance with contractual terms.

Now enterprise has begun work on next set of condenser modules of casing No 4.

Under conditions of the contract for Zaporizhzhya power plant, "Turboatom" will manufacture and supply "block-modular" type condenser with stainless steel pipe system that will replace condenser with copper-nickel alloy pipe system of 1000 MW capacity turbine K-1000-60 / 1500-2. Condenser is in operation at NPP Unit No. 3 since 1986. New equipment will allow turbine unit to operate at rated power with changes in temperature of cooling water, increase power and extend life-time of Unit.
