Equipment for Dniester HPSPP is manufactured

In workshops of the company works on shipment of equipment for Dniester HPSPP are continued.

JSC "Turboatom" shipped outsize parts, namely two parts of turbine head cover. In plant's workshops are taking place arrangements for preparation of equipment for shipment. Previously, plant has already shipped parts of bottom ring, thrust bearing support and shield of ring gate, as well as dimensional parts.

Recall that in May 2018, specialists of JSC "Turboatom" manufactured, provided to customer and shipped equipment of hydraulic turbine for the fourth hydraulic unit of Dniester HPSPP in accordance with terms of the contract.

During the first stage, "Turboatom" shipped small sized parts of equipment, among which were guide vanes of distributor. This required 20 vehicles.

As previously reported, reversible radial axial hydraulic machines ORO170-B-730 manufactured by PJSC "Turboatom" were installed on Dniester HPSPP. Plant has already manufactured and supplied complete set of equipment of three turbines. Maximum capacity of units in turbine mode is 390 MW, in pump - 420 MW.

Construction of the latter unit at this moment was completed in December 2015, and in June 2016 the first stage of construction of Dniester HPSPP was commissioned, consisting of three units. The fourth hydraulic unit is in manufacturing stage. Commissioning of turbine is scheduled for 2019.
