“Turboatom” celebrated day of machine builder
At JSC “Turboatom”, there were celebrations dedicated to the Day of Machine Builder of Ukraine.
Festive evening was opened by General Director of JSC “Turboatom” Victor Subotin and acting Chairman of Trade Union Committee Mykola Turchin. As Victor Subotin noted, team of turbine constructors meets its professional holiday on background of successful work of the enterprise. “I am glad to inform you that we have good results for current year. We have a portfolio of orders for 2 years ahead. Among these orders are tenders that we have won in tough competition with world manufacturers. Thus, we can say that we look confidently in future and do everything we need to keep social component at proper level. During September we raised salary by 10%, and during the 4th quarter we will raise it by another 10%. And we will raise it in the future”, - said Victor Subotin. General Director with great respect congratulated labor collective on the holiday and wished peace, good and prosperity of factory workers and their families.
Awards from administration of Nemyshla district to turbine constructors were presented by its Head, Tetyana Topchiy. In her greetings, she congratulated all workers on upcoming professional holiday and expressed her enthusiasm for the enterprise and its employees. “It is extremely pleasant to realize,” - said Tetyana Topchiy - that today “Turboatom” is a world-known, modern, research-and-production complex for research, development and production of turbines. It is famous not only for scope and quality of its products, but also for strong team of skilled specialists who today, by high results of their work, glorify our district and our hometown far beyond Ukraine. "
Gratitude and Honorary Diplomas from Kharkiv Regional State Administration were presented by Head of Department of Industrial Development Volodymyr Mishchenko. “Machine building in Kharkiv region is definitely key industry, because its development that is a significant and basic indicator of country's scientific and technological potential and level of development of state's economy. And “Turboatom” - is important component of this indicator, because it is one of the largest employers and provides one of the largest salaries among machine-building enterprises of the country, along with high social standards”, he said in his speech.
On the occasion of the holiday, 46 foremost workers and leading specialists of “Turboatom” were awarded with Honorary Diplomas and Gratitude of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Kharkiv Regional State Administration and Regional Council, Kharkiv City Council and Administration of Nemyshla district of Kharkiv, as well as Trade Unions of Machine Building and Metal Workers of Ukraine.
Victor Subotin and Mykola Turchin presented factory awards of turbine constructors. For significant personal contribution of enterprise's employees to development of domestic machine-building and outstanding work achievements, the title of “Honor Turbine constructor” was awarded to 21 employees of the plant, the title “Veteran of Turboatom” was awarded to 16 people, sign “For Merits” were awarded 2 turbine constructors. Another 294 employees were awarded with Honorary Diplomas of plant or thanked. Also, according to tradition, to the Day of Machine Builder in September 2018, JSC “Turboatom” summarized results of reviews-contests for “The Best Production Team”, "The Best Collective of Unit, Department, SDB”, “The Best on Profession”. So, the first place was taken and became one of the best production teams of team of blade workshop No 55. The best teams and employees of “Turboatom” were awarded diplomas and transitional pennants. All winners of competitions are listed on the board of honor and bonus. In competition “The Best on Profession” 20 plant workers became winners.
The evening traditionally continued by festive concert with participation of factory studio of creativity “All ours”, whose theme was rest at sports and recreation base “Blue Bay”. Singers sang, danced, joked, read poetry.
