"Turboatom", KhNEU and "Yuzhcable" signed cooperation agreement

Kharkiv National University of Economics named after S. Kuznets, JSC "Turboatom" and OJSC "Yuzhcable" signed cooperation agreements in framework of implementation of concept of dual education.

Documents were signed on the results of round table "Dual form of education - new quality of specialists training in Ukraine."

Main task of introducing of dual form of education is to eliminate main disadvantages of traditional forms and methods of training of future qualified workers, to bridge gap between theory and practice, education and production, as well as to improve quality of qualified personnel training, taking into account requirements of employers in new forms of education.

Advantages of dual education are:

organization of cooperation of enterprises, business, social partners;

development of legislative framework for implementation of national quality standards for vocational education;

attracting qualified production personnel to teaching activities (mentors, teachers);

conducting institutional research and consulting (monitoring quality of provision of educational services in field of vocational education, updating educational standards);

consideration of specific requests of enterprises for content and quality of vocational education.

“That is why it is necessary to promote further development of export of elements of dual form of training qualified personnel and accelerate introduction of its elements into system of professional (vocational) education in Ukraine,” noted V. Kovtunets, author of the concept of dual education.

Introduction of dual form of education allows students to combine study in-person and practice at enterprises, gaining work experience and mastering knowledge gained in practice.
