On January 21, 2019 JSC “Turboatom” celebrated its 85th anniversary. Celebrations were held with the participation of distinguished guests, including First Deputy Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Public Administration Mark Becker, Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council Sergiy Chernov and First Deputy Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov.
Also, to congratulate the turbine builders on the holiday, Tetyana Topchy, Head of the Nemyshlyansky District Administration of the Kharkiv City Council, and Sergey Teslenko, Chairman of the Trade Union Association of the Kharkiv Region, visited the celebrations.
The first to congratulate the guests and employees of the enterprise on the stage were the General Director of JSC “Turboatom” Victor Subotin and the Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization Mykola Turchin.
In his congratulations, Viktor Subotin noted that the plant has the right to celebrate its next anniversary with pride in the work done. “Today we celebrate the anniversary of our native plant. 85 years is a real epoch for the country, for the industry of Ukraine. This is a significant event for the Kharkiv region,” – the General Director said. He noted that this event was due to the work of a many thousands of staff over decades, thanks to the continuity of generations of turbine builders. “Today we must bow to those who for many years helped develop the enterprise, supported it and passed it into our hands. This is a galaxy of true professionals: Anatoly Bugayets, Volodymyr Khaitov, Vitaly Abramovsky and many others. It is their work that allows us to feel confident today,” – the General Director of “Turboatom” noted. “The company has high technical and economic indicators and profitability, the highest among machine-building enterprises in Ukraine. We pay hundreds of millions of hryvnia taxes and dividends to the state, – declared Viktor Subotin. – And most importantly - we have a stable workload for the next two years. We annually demonstrate production growth rates.” At the end of congratulations, the General Director of JSC “Turboatom” thanked the workforce for the work. “Thank you for your work, for your attitude to the plant and the country,” he concluded.
Addressing the greeting, Mykola Turchin noted that “Turboatom” is known not only for its economic stability, but also for its team. “Our company is famous for its work collective and competent leadership, which leads “Turboatom” to great victories,” – Mykola Turchin said in his congratulation. – I wish you all the labor achievements for the benefit of our plant. Happy holiday, dear turbine builders! ”
The next who congratulated the turbine builders was the First Deputy Chairman of the KhRPA, Mark Becker. In his address, he noted how pleased it is that in Kharkiv region there is such a magnificent enterprise as “Turboatom”. “I would like to convey to all of you words of great gratitude for your daily selfless work,” he said. – Today, Kharkiv region is one of the industry leaders in Ukraine. 70% of all revenues and taxes accounted for the enterprises of our region, and the largest share in this belongs to “Turboatom”. Mark Becker noted that the Kharkiv industry is very important for the region. “30% of Ukrainians employed in industry work at the enterprises of Kharkiv region,” he noted. – “And among a large number of machine-building enterprises, “Turboatom” deservedly ranks first in all indicators.” Mark Becker also added that Slobozhanshchina can be proud of the fact that “Turboatom” is here. “Turboatom” is the highest scientific potential, industrial communication and relations, and most importantly, it is a team of many thousands whose hands make the welfare of the Kharkiv region and mechanical engineering in general,” – said the First Deputy Head of the KhRPA.
In turn, the Chairman of the Regional Council Sergiy Chernov congratulated the leadership of JSC “Turboatom” and the entire workforce on the holiday. “It's nice to know that every year “Turboatom” is gaining momentum, it is only getting stronger,” – said Sergiy Chernov. He also added that these successes cannot be achieved without a team: “For all the successes of the plant there is hard work, your work of a large and intelligent team.” Finally, Sergiy Chernov thanked the labor collective. “It would be desirable for our mechanical engineering as represented by “Turboatom” to remain the leader not only in the Kharkiv region, but also in Ukraine. You have proven that you can do it,” – said Sergiy Chernov.
The first deputy Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov also congratulated plant workers. “85 years for a person is a whole life, for an enterprise such as “Turboatom” is only a moment. But how much has been done in this moment! How much work and effort invested in the fact that this plant has become the flagship of the domestic engineering industry. I want to wish you a peaceful sky over your head, good health, good luck and inspiration. Happy holiday to you! ”, – Igor Terekhov said in his congratulations.
The next who addressed with a welcoming speech to the employees of “Turboatom” was the Head of the Administration of the Nemyshlyansky district of the Kharkiv city council, Tetyana Topchy. “For 85 years of its existence,” – she said, – “your plant has received not only domestic, but also international recognition. Today, it is famous not only for its volume and quality of products, but also for its strong team of qualified specialists. ” Finally, Tetyana Topchy presented a special edition of the jubilee book to the General Director of “Turboatom”.
Viktor Subotin also received an award, which “Turtoatom” in his person was presented by the Chairman of the Trade Union Association of the Kharkiv region Sergiy Teslenko.
In total, over 50 advanced workers and lead specialists of “Turboatom” were awarded with honorary mentions from regional public administration and regional council, Kharkiv city council and Nemyshlyansky district administration of Kharkiv for the significant personal contribution to the development of the engineering industry of Ukraine, high professionalism, many years of conscientious work and on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the founding of JSC “Turboatom”.
In addition, 19 employees were awarded the title “Honorable Turbine Builder”, 15 men were awarded the title “Veteran of Turboatom”, 4 turbine builders were awarded the badge “For Merits”, and three more were awarded the title “Glory of Turboatom”. 303 employees of the plant were marked with Letters of recognition and Honorary mentions.
Celebrations were continued with a concert, during which the artists of the studio “All Ours” pulverized the audience with their performance and created a truly festive mood.
