A gala concert dedicated to March 8 held on “Turboatom”

On March 6, 2019 a festive events dedicated to the International Women's Day March 8 held at the JSC "Turboatom".

On behalf of the Directorate of “Turboatom” the General Director Victor Subbotin congratulated the fair sex. “Spring has finally come. By tradition, our team welcomes the women we love these days. I want to express words of great gratitude for your work, attitude to work and the team, for the ability to combine the role of a woman and mother with responsible, sometimes even male work. On behalf of all men of “Turboatom” I sincerely wish you happiness, inspiration, good mood, so that your loved ones are healthy, and love, comfort and well-being reigned in the house.”

Victor Subbotin also noted that since February 1, the company had increased wages and thanked women once again for their fruitful work.

Chairman of the primary trade union organization Nikolay Turchin joined the congratulations. “Dear women! On this day I want to wish you all the most beautiful and inspiring. You bring joy and love, kindness and tenderness to our team. Let warmth, well-being and love reign in your homes and mutual understanding and respect at work. Be happy!”

Also the ceremonial events attended a special guest – daughter of the former director of “Turboatom” Ariy Rudkovsky Irina Zubkova. In her speech, she thanked the company's management for the opportunity to visit the plant, which her father headed for 16 years. “I was in his office, looked at the places where he held meetings. And I am very pleased that you managed to keep the spirit that is the basis of this plant,” she said.

On the occasion of the International Women's Day March 8, as well as for conscientious work, high professionalism and great contribution to the development of the enterprise, 10 women workers were awarded the title “Honorable Turbine Builders”, 12 women were awarded the title “Veteran” of Turboatom, 110 were awarded charts and letters of gratitude. In addition to “Turboatom” awards, 16 women-plant workers received charts and letters of gratitude from the Kharkov Regional State Administration and Regional Council, the Kharkov City Council and the administration of the Nemyshlyansky district of Kharkov.

The celebration was continued by the traditional festive concert-performance with the participation of the plant studio of creativity “All ours”. Artists gave their female counterparts a lot of emotions and good mood by doing 13 numbers, which combined songs, dances and poems and were united by one storyline. The concert-performance was called “Ours in Thailand. Angelic Rest” and had a comedy genre with love, lyrical and dramatic lines.

On March 11, 2019 “Turboatom” invites veterans of the enterprise to a festive concert.
