V. Subbotin: “Turboatom” for the last three years has sold products in the amount of UAH 7.2 billion.

“Over the last three years, JSC “Turboatom” has sold products in the amount of 7.2 billion UAH. Moreover, we already have a portfolio of orders for the next two years,” the plant’s General Director Viktor Subbotin said on March 14 during a meeting of the Regional Development Council, held in Kharkov, with the participation of Prime Minister of Ukraine.

According to Subbotin, products of the domestic power engineering complex today are competitive in world markets. “Just over 20 countries in the world are capable of producing turbines, generators for NPPs PSPPs, and Ukraine is on this list,” he said.

The result of the company's hard work is the fact that recently, in the presence of President of Ukraine “Turboatom”, in accordance with the current import substitution program, signed an agreement with NNEGC “Energoatom” almost half a billion hryvnia. “The special significance of this contract is that it is a delivery to nuclear power plants of Ukraine, where Russia supplied equipment at one time. We took responsibility, fully developed the design, ensured the technological process and the right to serve Ukrainian NPPs,” emphasized Subbotin.

Concerning the results of the financial and economic activities of the enterprise, the General Director noted that “Turboatom” works profitably. Over the past three years, the company's profit amounted to 2.5 billion UAH. The plant paid taxes for the same amount. Today, “Turboatom” has the opportunity to earn money from profit to invest in its technical re-equipment and development.

Victor Subbotin also noted that the company managed to complete the task set by the Chairman of the Kharkov Regional Public Administration, Yulia Svetlichnaya. It is about raising wages for employees. “For three years, we were able to increase the level of wages at the enterprise by almost three times. The average salary in the whole plant today is about 13 thousand UAH, for production and industrial personnel - almost 18 thousand UAH. These are competitive indicators that allow us to keep people”, – said the General Director.

In addition, according to him, the plant works closely with the basic institutes: the National Technical University “Kharkov Polytechnic Institute”, the National Aerospace University named after N.E. Zhukovsky “Kharkov Aviation Institute”, Kharkov National University of Economics named after Semen Kuznets. Agreements on the dual education system for training specialists for just “Turboatom” have been concluded with institutions of higher education.
