At JSC “Turboatom” it was decided to establish a contest “Young Person of the Year”, which aims to support gifted and talented youth, the definition of its significant achievements in various spheres of public life and the enterprise.
According to the Regulations, the contest is based on a similar Kharkov city competition. Organizational and methodological support for its implementation will be provided by the Youth Council of the enterprise.
The contest will be attended by employees of enterprise aged up to 35 years, who have made a significant contribution to the development of the plant or social activities. Nominations of the contest: “Production activities”; “Scientific activity”; “Social activity, culture and sport”. Winners and laureates can be recommended for participation in the city contest “Young Person of the Year.”
The applications submitted for the contest will be evaluated by the expert council, which, depending on the nomination, will include: Deputy General Directors, Chief Engineer, General Designer, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization, Head of Human Resources Department, Head of the Social Policy Department and Chairman of the Youth Council.
The winners and laureates will be determined on the basis of a comprehensive assessment, the indicators characterizing production efficiency and the quality of work performed will be of the greatest importance. Based on the decision of the expert council, the Youth Council will determine no more than 3 winners and 3 laureates who will be awarded with diplomas and cash bonuses.
We recall that at the end of September 2018, in the Kharkov City Council, in the framework of awarding the winners and laureates of the city contest “Young Person of the Year – 2018”, two employees of “Turboatom” received awards: 5th category Lathe Turner of steam turbine workshop Maxim Khizhko, and Deputy Head of Design Department of thermal and strength calculations of SDB “Turboatom” Igor Palkov.
