Condenser shipped to SU NPP and preparing for installation

Shipment of "block-module" condenser equipment with stainless steel pipe system for unit No. 3 of South-Ukrainian NPP, which began in February, was completed in full in April 2019 in accordance with terms of the contract between SSB "Atomkomplekt" NNEGC "Energoatom" and JSC "Turboatom".

At the final stage of manufacturing, before shipment from the plant, all products were presented to customer’s representatives - specialists of South-Ukrainian NPP. Acceptance committee also has inspected control assemblies of all four casings consisting of 8 modules each, 32 modules in total.

All equipment of condenser is located on site of NPP and passed accepting inspection before its installation, preparatory work is being carried out for installation at regular place - to replace old condenser.

Peculiarity of this order is that the supply of condenser is carried out according to import substitution program. This is the first project to develop and produce new condenser to replace the one that, like turbine, was manufactured by another company, in this case, JSC "Power Machines" (RF).

Next in line in subsequent period is supply of 4 more similar condensers under import substitution program for units No. 3 and No. 4 of Rivno NPP and units No. 1 and No. 2 of Khmelnytsk NPP.
