6 June 2019, at Kaniv HPP (Ukraine), meeting was held between management of JSC "Turboatom" and PrJSC Dnipro-Spetsgidroenergomontage.
"Turboatom" at this meeting was represented by representatives of General Director Sergiy Patsyuk, Sergiy Ilyinsky, Olexiy Korshunov, as well as the First Deputy Chief Designer of Hydraulic Turbines Victor Yefimenko and Deputy Head of Department of Contracts and Orders Olga Rudyk. They got acquainted with progress of installation of equipment of "Turboatom" and "SE" Plant "Electrowazhmash" and discussed issues that arose during the work.
Today, from 7 turbines, two are already under installation at power plant. Another, the third turbine, is currently in stage of shipment. The forth turbine of "Turboatom" plans to be manufactured and shipped this fall, and the last three will be delivered in 2020. Recall that "Turboatom" is the general contractor for this project.
After technical meeting at power plant, delegation visited museum and the grave of Ukrainian poet, writer Taras Shevchenko.
Recall that according to the contract signed in November 2016, enterprise will manufacture and supply 7 hydraulic turbines PL-15-GK-600 fully completed for rehabilitation of two power units of Kaniv HPP.
This contract was result of the first joint participation of "Turboatom", which was made by general contractor, and its partners - "Electrowazhmash" (delivery under contract of seven generators) and Consortium "RPA Ukrgidroenergoud" (delivery under contract of eight auxiliary systems of hydro units and supervision of equipment). Agreement on cooperation between partners was signed in October 2015.
Tender for EBRD funds was held in two stages during three years. "Turboatom", in terms of price and quality, has won its competitors - German consortium ANDRITZ HYDRO and Chinese enterprise Power China-Nari.
