Team of "Turboatom" has become one of the winners, having finished appearances in "Battle of corporations"
8 June 2019, final stage - Beach volleyball - ended the IV season corporate tournament "Battle of corporations."
According to results of "Spring Cup" combined team of "Turboatom" won the third place and received cup from hands of organizers of competition.
During the last stage of the tournament, participants played beach volleyball. Competitions took place at sports grounds of Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after. M. Gorky. Combined team of "Turboatom" has shown good preparation, persistence and will to win, which helped it to take the third place in overall score on the results of the draw game of "Spring Cup".
Traditionally, organizers identified six of the best teams that, in addition to promotional prizes, received certificates of discount for participation in the following season. It should also be noted that for the second time in a row, "Turboatom" ranked the third in results of entire "Battle of Corporations" season, giving way only to Whitebox and Adidas teams. At the same time, factory team became the best team among representatives of industrial enterprises of Kharkiv.
Upon completion of tournament, Head of SC "Turbinists" Yevgen Kharkivsky told our journalist about his impressions of the tournament.
- This year "Turboatom`s" athletes were again invited and took part in the most massive and most prestigious sporting event of our city - competitions among industrial enterprises and companies "Battle of corporations". Our team has glorious perennial sports traditions and is known for its success at various sports venues.
- Have there been any differences from last year?
- There were no fundamental differences. This year's participation in tournament took about 60 athletes – turbine constructors, the best in their sports. After careful selection of them, teams were formed for each sporting event.
- Who could you mention?
- I think it is worth highlighting our "universal soldier" - modeler of workshop 68 Oleg Karpenko. Following results of the year, he took part in 5 types of competitions. It is for this that he deservedly won the "Young Man of the Year" competition in the category "Community Activities, Culture and Sport".
- What are the further plans for participation in this tournament?
- According to the results of participation throughout the IV season, the team of "Turboatom" won the 3rd place among 26 teams participating in competition and as a prize received 1000 hryvnias discount for start-up fee for participating in B Season of Battle of corporations 2019-2020 years. Therefore, preparations for participation in "Autumn Cup" will begin soon: development of strategy of participation, formation of teams, training, etc.
- What would you wish to athletes?
- I would like to express my great gratitude to all athletes who participated in competitions during the year, as well as those who followed their course and were sympathetic to our team, were involved in this event in a different way. I share our success with all thousands of our company's employees!
In general, in the IV season, "Battle of corporations" was attended by over 2000 athletes, representing 26 teams.
"Battle of corporations" is the best sports tournament in Kharkiv, which consists of 10 kinds of sports. It is attended by amateur sportswomen who represent their company exclusively. This may be enterprise of Kharkiv region, regional representations of national or international companies.
Tournament is held with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyle, developing amateur sports, creating platform for informal business communication and strengthening corporate culture among employees of organizations.
