“Turboatom” celebrated the Machine Builders Day
On September 19, 2019 festive events dedicated to the Ukrainian Machine Builders Day took place at “Turboatom”.
The festive evening was opened by the General Director of JSC “Turboatom” Viktor Subotin and the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee Mykola Turchyn. As Viktor Subotin noted, the turbine construction team fulfilled, and in some cases, exceeded the planned targets. The company operates cost-effectively and is one of the best taxpayers in the country. “The most important thing is that we have fully ensured the workload of the enterprise both for the current year and for the next two years, we see the prospect in the future,” the General Director emphasized. According to him, the plant’s products are very popular among energy customers today. “We recently signed a 6-year cooperation program with our main customer today – NNEGC “Energoatom”, the company is also working on an order from PrJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”, in a few days the partners from Kazakhstan will come to the plant with whom we will discuss hydro topics. At the same time, The Minister of Energy of Bulgaria assured that the next order for the modernization of their stations will also be received by “Turboatom”. All this once again proves that our company is working steadily and is developing”, said Viktor Subotin. He thanked the labor collective, congratulated them on the occasion and wished happiness and prosperity to the plant workers and their families.
Welcoming the labor collective, the chairman of the trade union committee Mykola Turchyn emphasized that the basis of any successful enterprise is its employees. “Dear machine builders, I congratulate you with our professional holiday! The world glory of “Turboatom” is being formed by your dedicated work,” said Mykola Turchyn.
Turbo-builders were also congratulated on the holiday by the director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Volodymyr Minenko, and the head of the Industrial Development Directorate of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Volodymyr Mishchenko.
On the occasion of the holiday, the plant workers were awarded with Certificates of Merit and Gratitudes from the State Property Fund of Ukraine, the Kharkiv City Council and the administration of the Nemyshlyansky district of Kharkiv.
The awards of turbine builders were presented by Viktor Subotin and Mykola Turchyn. For the significant personal contribution of the enterprise’s employees to the development of domestic mechanical engineering and outstanding labor achievements, 16 employees of the plant were awarded the title “Honorary Turbine Builders”, 12 people were awarded the “Veteran of Turboatom” title, 3 turbine builders were awarded with the Merit badge. Also 2 employees of the enterprise received the title “Glory of Turboatom”. Another 302 employees were awarded with Certificates of Merit and Certificates of acknowledgement of the management.
The festive concert entitled “I had a strange dream” with the participation of the plant studio of creativity “All Ours” traditionally continued the evening. The topic is the dreams of the “Turboatom” workers, from the director to the guards. The concert ended with a poem by Ivan Franko “Kamenyarі” and a touching performance of the song “Ocean of Elsa” “How many of us?”, during which the artists took to the stage with stylized small lights - a symbol of the burning heart of turbine builders.
