Workshops of the enterprise continue works on production of equipment for Seredniodniprovska HPP (station No 2).
In October, “Turboatom`s” specialist provided to representatives of PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”, as a customer, functional tests of runner for Seredniodniprovska HPP. The equipment is currently being shipped to the power plant.
Works are also under way on production of wicket gates: 12 of planned 32 pieces have already been delivered to the power plant. The final production and packaging of remaining 20 wicket gates is planned for current month.
Recall that in June 2019, procedure of coupling of shaft and runner hub of the first of two turbines was completed. Specialists of the enterprise carried out control assembly of equipment, in the process of which in runner hub and shaft joint drilling of holes was carried out for subsequent installation of bushings and bolts in them.
On 22 November 2017, JSC “Turboatom” and PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo” signed contract for rehabilitation of two hydropower units (Kaplan type turbines and generators) for Seredniodniprovska HPP. The contract is expected to be implemented by September 2021. This will increase capacity of “Ukrhydroenergo” hydroelectric power plants, increase scope of electricity generation, extend lifetime of HPP equipment, enhance reliability of country's power grid as a whole.
