Kharkiv Regional Council on December 5 at the session adopted an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers with a proposal to leave JSC “Turboatom” (Kharkiv) the norm for the deduction of part of the profits, which is used to pay dividends for 2018, at 50%.
As stated in the appeal, the Cabinet of Ministers decree dated November 21, 2018 on the approval of the “Turboatom” financial plan for 2019 a norm for deducting net profit allocated for dividend payments in the amount of 50% of the net profit received by the company in 2018 is planned. In April 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers issued a decree according to which state-owned enterprises, including “Turboatom”, must pay up to 90% of dividends on the state share fraction.
At the meeting of shareholders of “Turboatom” on April 17, 2019, it was decided to distribute the net profit for 2018 in accordance with the legislative acts in force at that time. Until July 1, dividends on the state share in the amount of 287 million 459 thousand 435 UAH were paid. In this regard, “Turboatom” asked for an appropriate appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers in order to prevent a sharp deterioration in the financial condition of the enterprise, the regional council emphasized.
