“Turboatom” provided exhibits for STEAM- park of NTU “KhPI”

In January 2020, the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” received from JSC “Turboatom” the equipment manufactured by the plant under the signed Partnership and Cooperation Agreement.

This is carried out with the aim of attracting interested people to the educational process and popularizing the sphere of power engineering among students.

According to the terms of the agreement, signed by the General Director of “Turboatom” Viktor Subotin and Rector of NTU “KhPI” Yevgen Sokol, the enterprise provides the university with a large-scale model of the runner of an adjustable-blade hydraulic turbine and a low-pressure rotor of the K-220-139/3600 turbine. The rotor has already been transferred, and the university will receive the runner in the spring of this year.

The equipment will be installed for general display on the university campus.
