The Republic of Tajikistan is interested in cooperation with JSC “Turboatom” in the field of implementation of the project for the construction of HPP in Tajikistan.
This was stated by the adviser to the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan Mirzodlatat Odynaiev during a meeting with the chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleksii Kucher, the press service of KhRSA reports.
Advisor to the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan Mirzodlatat Odynaiev noted that Ukraine and Tajikistan have a long history of friendly relations and economic cooperation. In particular, specialists from Kharkiv plants “Turboatom” and “Elektrotyazhmash” took an active part in the construction of hydropower plants in Tajikistan. There is an interest in such cooperation now. A few months ago, these enterprises were visited by the ambassador of Tajikistan. A representative of the embassy delegation said that one of the largest Central Asian HPP, Rogunskaya, is currently under construction in Tajikistan.
“It is needed to deliver 6 units there. We are negotiating, we hope that the specialists of “Turboatom” and “Electrotyazhmash” will make a contribution to the development of our hydropower directions,” – Mirzodlatat Odynaiev said.
