“Turboatom” was visited by people’s deputies of Ukraine

On Saturday, June 20, JSC “Turboatom” was visited by people’s deputies of Ukraine Oleksandr Kornienko, Pavlo Sushko, Oleksiy Krasov and the head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleksiy Kucher. The guests were met by Victor Subbotin, General Director of the enterprise.

The delegation visited the steam turbine (No. 53), hydroturbine (No. 83) and blade (No.) 55 workshops, where they got acquainted with the production facilities of the plant.

As Pavlo Sushko noted, “Turboatom” is an example of a classic exemplary state-owned enterprise that paid a record amount of taxes to the state last year. “We will popularize “Turboatom” and make the simple worker profession popular.”

Oleksandr Kornienko emphasized: “We saw a large and powerful enterprise, which literally last year paid 1.1 billion hryvnias of taxes. The company's management is trying to constantly update the technical base of the plant and creates favorable conditions for employees. For our part, we will work to ensure that “Turboatom” works and receives more orders.”

Oleksiy Krasov noted that even under quarantine conditions, “Turboatom” regularly fulfills its obligations to customers. “During today's visit to the plant, we discussed the issue of receivables to the enterprise with the management of “Turboatom”, the head of KhSRA Oleksiy Kucher and colleagues in the parliament, Oleksandr Kornienko, Pavlo Sushko. We will assist in resolving this and other issues relating to the operation of the plant, within the framework of our authority and opportunities”, - the people's deputy noted.

According to Oleksiy Kucher, “Turboatom” is the flagship of the domestic engineering industry, so it was specially chosen to introduce people's deputies to it. “Last year, the plant paid UAH 1.1 billion in taxes to the state budget. For example, all enterprises that are subordinate to the State Property Fund of Ukraine paid a lower amount of taxes. There are no more than 10 enterprises around the world like “Turboatom,” - the governor noted.

He emphasized that the company is headed by an effective leader who, in spite of everything, works, showing the result. “In today's reality, this is very important,” added Oleksiy Kucher.
