At "Turboatom" held competition "Young man of the year"

7 July 2020, at "Turboatom" the winners and laureates of the competition "Young Man of the Year", which is being held at the enterprise for the second year in a row, were awarded with diplomas.

In competition took part 15 employees under age of 35. Competition was held in three nominations: "Scientific activity", in which one winner was determined, "Activity in field of production" - two winners and two laureates, "Public activity, culture and sports" - one laureate. The winners of competition will take part in Kharkiv city competition "Young Man of the Year" in 2020.

The purpose of this event is to foster an active civil position and support talented young people of the enterprise.

Evaluation of applications submitted for competition was carried out by expert council of JSC "Turboatom" by a majority vote.

In nomination "Scientific activity" the winner is Head of welding laboratory of welding department Vitaliy Sharogo - one of developers of new technology of complex ion-plasma hardening of surfaces of parts of steam distribution units of steam turbines. Co-author of scientific development "Increasing service life of welded joints of power equipment of modern power units of TPPs." Laureate of the President of Ukraine Award for Young Scientists in 2019, Laureate of contest "Young Man of the Year of JSC "Turboatom" of the last year.

In nomination "Activity in field of production" the winners were electric welder of manual welding of hydroturbine workshop Olexandr Bardak - works on installation of air-arc cutting and has ability of argon welding and mechanic for mechanical assembly works of assembly and testing workshop Maxim Koren - with his participation were introduced progressive processes statistical and dynamic regulation of complex parts and assemblies.

Laureates in nomination "Activity in field of production" are electric welder of manual welding of workshop of welded structures Andriy Albu - the youngest participant of competition. At the age of 19, he quickly mastered profession of electric welder. During year of work he improved his qualification to the 4th category. He took the first place in the first selection stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of professional skills WorldSkills Ukraine, discipline - welding. Volodymyr Ilyin, milling machine operator, received the second diploma of laureate - he mastered complex technology of manufacturing units and parts for turbines of various types. Works as milling machine operator on machine with CNC, independently develops programs and implements them in processing and manufacture of complex parts.

In nomination "Public activity, culture and sports" as laureate was chosen electrician on repair and service of electric equipment of electric repair workshop Olga Yeremenko - active participant of sports and public life of the enterprise and Kharkiv. She has a diploma for the 1st place in International Kharkiv Marathon 2019 among turbine constructors (distance 1.6 km), a diploma for the 2nd place in competitions at SC "Turbinist" in 500 m run, participant in Kharkiv Airport Run, in which team "Turboatom" took second place in nomination "Fastest Corporate Team". Member of Youth Council of the enterprise.
