The press centre of “Turboatom” states that the appeal of the chairman of the PE "Accent" Igor Baluta, published on January 22, 2021 on his Facebook page, spreads false information about JSC “Turboatom”, causes image damage and undermines the business reputation of the enterprise.
All loans attracted in 2020 were issued in state banks of Ukraine, and this is open information.
The company had good reasons to attract loans: firstly, it is accounts receivable, which reached 2.9 billion UAH. Please note that in many contracts “Turboatom” acts as a general contractor and also has financial obligations to supplier enterprises. Secondly, the pandemic, due to which a number of meetings with foreign customers were canceled, which, in turn, paralyzed work planning and revenue generation. Thirdly, the payment of an unplanned part of dividends at the end of 2019, which left the company without floating capital. Fourthly, turbine builders could not be left without wages.
JSC “Turboatom” is profitable according to the results of its many years of activity. During 2007-2020, the company received a net income from the sale of products in the amount of about 22.8 billion UAH, transferred to the state and local budgets about 8 billion UAH.
During 2007-2020, the financial and economic activities of the company were repeatedly checked by regulatory authorities, which is documented in the relevant acts.
We would like to emphasize that the company has not previously contacted banking institutions. With its own funds, without loans, carried out a radical modernization of the technopark, and this is 70 million dollars over the past 10 years; kept the social sphere - a stadium, a recreation center, accepting up to 1000 turbine builders over the summer; invested in its own medical and sanitary unit, which in today's situation provides consultations to employees of the enterprise and monitors all cases of Covid-19 diseases.
You are kindly requested to refrain from unfounded statements at a time when the national power machine builder is fighting for sales markets, defends his right to be the best and proves this by a real example, introducing innovative turbine equipment, and this is the economic development of Ukraine. Such unsubstantiated statements undermine the work of the enterprise and the state as a whole. The management of “Turboatom” stands for understanding and development of our country, city and enterprise together.
