JSC “Turboatom” congratulated the women turbine builders on the International Women's Day

On March 4, 2021, festive events dedicated to the International Women's Day on March 8 held at JSC “Turboatom”. In the assembly hall of the enterprise gathered women, workers of all workshops and divisions of the plant.

Secretary of the Kharkiv City Council Igor Terekhov was present among the guests of honor.

On behalf of the Directorate of “Turboatom” the representatives of the fair sex were congratulated by the General Director of the enterprise Viktor Subotin. “By tradition, the male part of the team these days greets our beloved women,” he said. “I congratulate you on behalf of the Directorate on the holiday of spring, beauty and love. I’d like to inform you that everything is calm at “Turboatom”: we have a load, a prospect for this and the next years.” In the end, Victor Subotin thanked again for the fruitful work.

Igor Terekhov addressed those present with congratulations: “For us, men, this is an unusual holiday, because seeing smiles on your faces is incredibly expensive. It is on March 8 that spring begins, nature blooms, and a festive mood appears in all of us. I wish all Kharkiv women smiles, peace of mind, harmony and more joyful moments in life. I want you to always feel support, believe in your men, and they never let you down. Happy holiday!”

After the speech, Igor Terekhov presented the awards of the Kharkiv City Council to 10 women turbine builders.

Also, the head of the Nemyshlyansky district administration, Tetiana Topchiy, was present at the ceremonial events. In her speech, she thanked the management of the enterprise for the invitation and congratulated everyone on the upcoming holiday. “I am very pleased to be your guest again. I would like to wish all of you that the spring sun will bring joy and peace to your hearts, and there will be real men nearby.”

On the occasion of International Women's Day on March 8, as well as for conscientious work, high professionalism and great contribution to the development of the enterprise, 7 women workers were awarded the title of “Honorary turbine builder”, 9 - were awarded the title of “Turboatom Veteran”, 90 employees were awarded Certificates of Honor and Gratitude of the plant. In addition to the “Turboatom” awards, 8 plant workers received Certificates of Honor and Gratitude from the Kharkiv Regional State Administration and the Regional Council.

The celebration was continued by the traditional festive concert with the participation of the creative team of amateur art activities of JSC “Turboatom”. The concert was truly spring and fresh, the artists gave their female colleagues a lot of emotions and good mood. Popular melodies and songs were performed by the artists of the art studio “All Ours”.
