“Ukrenergymachines” celebrated the Day of Ukrainian Machine Builders

On September 23, 2021, “Ukrainian Energy Machines”, JSC hosted festive events dedicated to the Day of Machine Builders of Ukraine, with the participation of distinguished guests, in particular, the interim Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Olksandr Skakun and the deputy of the Kharkiv Regional Council Tetiana Stoliarenko.

The festive evening was traditionally opened by the General Director of “Ukrenergymachines”, JSC Viktor Subotin. “The current celebration of our professional holiday is historical and significant for our team, since we celebrate it under a new name– “Ukrainian Energy Machines”. This will give strength to all of us,” – Viktor Subotin said in his speech.

Further, the interim Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleksandr Skakun addressed with a welcoming speech to the turbine builders: “I want to congratulate you all on the holiday. The modern world is increasingly globalizing, and we cannot stand aside. That is why the government decided to create a new powerful enterprise. I am pleased to announce that Viktor Subotin was elected the head of the new concern,” – said Oleksand Skakun. He presented five employees with Diplomas and Gratitude of the Kharkiv Regional Council.

Tetiana Stoliarenko read out a welcome letter from the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleg Urusky. “For many years, the employees of your company have been ensuring the implementation of new developments and the manufacture of high-quality products, creating a positive image of Ukraine in the world arena,” – the letter said.

Welcoming the labor collective, the chairman of the Trade Union Committee Mykola Turchyn emphasized that the basis of any successful enterprise is its employees. “Dear colleagues, thanks to the well-coordinated work of our team, turbines are being modernized, new power equipment is being created,” – said Mykola Turchyn.

On the occasion of the holiday, 21 employees were awarded with Gratitudes from the State Property Fund of Ukraine, the Kharkiv City Council and the administration of the Nemyshlyansky District of Kharkiv.

For the significant personal contribution of employees of the enterprise to the development of domestic machine building and outstanding labor achievements, the title of “Honorary turbine builder” was awarded to 10 employees of the plant, the title of “Veteran of Turboatom” was awarded to 9 people, the badge “For Merit” was awarded to 2 turbine builders. Also, 2 employees of the enterprise received the title “Glory to Turboatom”. Another 220 employees were awarded with a certificate of honor of the plant or gratitude was announced to them. All the awardees were presented by the management of the enterprise.

The evening traditionally continued with a festive concert with the participation of the plant studio of creativity "All Ours", which was called “Rise of Machines” and was dedicated to the hard and important work of turbine builders.
