“Turboatom” and “Elektrovazhmash” are not just merging into “Ukrainian Energy Machines”. Giant enterprise is placed in direct management of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. State Property Fund will transfer controlling block of shares to Government as soon as merging process is completed.
This is a very important decision. Resolving a number of issues - quickly and efficiently - is possible only in the presence of direct contact with Cabinet of Ministers. After all, it is also in charge of the main national customers of our industrial giants - Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo.
For the last year, as Deputy Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, who was in charge of industry, I have been doing everything to make this happen. And merging. And placing in subordination of Government of Ukraine.
Sure that this is exactly the way that will allow to take “from the edge of the abyss” “Electrovazhmash”, which almost went down in history, like dozens of industrial enterprises of modern Ukraine. I consider it is success of Kharkiv region and my personal success.
