Minister of Community and Territory Development of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshev visited JSC “Ukrenergymachines”

On October 29, 2021 JSC “Ukrenergymachines” was paid a working visit by the Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshev, interim Head of the Kharkiv Regional Administration Oleksandr Skakun; and People's Deputy of Ukraine Viktoria Kinzburgska.

The delegation visited the steam-turbine (No. 53), hydro-turbine (No. 83) and blade (No. 55) workshops, where they got acquainted with the production facilities of the plant.

“I begin my working visit to the Kharkiv region with the JSC “Ukrainian Energy Machines”. I want to say frankly that “Ukrenergymachines” is one of the companies that Ukraine is proud of. Today, thanks to the activities of the company's management in recent years, a path has been found for modernization, entering new sales markets, despite certain political circumstances and conditions. I am glad that we have witnessed the merger of two powerful enterprises – “Turboatom” and “Electrotyazhmash”, which will be fully completed by the end of the year, - said Oleksii Chernyshev.

In turn, Victoria Kinzburgskaya wished the Ukrainian industry new achievements, and the plant new orders: “I am always fascinated when such honorable guests as Mr. Minister, visiting the plant, see its capacity and capabilities. Our task now is to establish logistics so that this process is transparent, open and efficient,” – she stressed.

General Director of JSC “Ukrenergymachines” Viktor Subotin reported on the work of the enterprise, financial and production indicators and spoke about the process of combining two plants through a merger: “I want to say that in Ukraine this is the most ambitious reorganization of large enterprises, and we are going through this for the first time. We are acting according to the schedule planned by the Cabinet of Ministers, and this process will be completed by the end of this year. The merger will allow us to be more active in sales markets, in contracts and to win.”

He stressed that the merger of the two enterprises will become a new stage in the development of Kharkiv enterprises.
