The delegation of the Kyiv Institute Energoproject visited “Ukrenergymachines” JSC

On November 16, 2021, a working meeting on the design of turbine sections of power units 3 and 4 of Khmelnytsky NPP and the introduction of low-power NPP based on modular reactors was held in Kharkiv at the enterprise “Ukrainian Energy Machines” JSC.

The meeting was attended by representatives of “Ukrenergymachines" JSC and JSC “Kyiv Institute Energyproject”.

During the meeting, issues of interaction between “Ukrenergymachines” JSC and JSC "KIEP" on the design of turbine houses of power units 3 and 4 of Khmelnytsky NPP were considered.

The specialists of JSC “KIEP” and “Ukrenergymachines” JSC have confirmed the technical solutions for the use of turbines K-1100-60/1500-2 M in the design of the turbine hall of the power unit No. 3 of Khmelnytsky NPP.

“Ukrenergymachines” JSC informed JSC “KIEP” about the possibility of operation of the K-1200-5.76/25 turbine (based on the K-1100-60-1500-2M turbine) with the АР 1000 reactor unit of the Westinghouse company for unit No. 4 of Khmelnytsky NPP and considered the design heat balance diagram and the main technical characteristics of a 1200 MW turbine unit. “Ukrenergymachines” JSC presented variants of turbines of various designs for low-power NPPs.

Representatives of JSC “KIEP” got acquainted with the production workshops of “Ukrenergymachines” JSC, including the state of readiness of the turbine units for unit No. 3 of Khmelnytsky NPP.

Further to the meeting, the parties signed a protocol.
