On December 14, 2021 interim Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleksandr Skakun visited “Ukrenergymachines” JSC.
The General Director of “Ukrenergymachines” JSC Viktor Subotin acquainted him with the production capacities and prospects of “Ukrenergymachines”. In particular, they visited the 5th production site – “Electrotyazhmash”, where Oleksandr Skakun talked with the employees of the enterprise. Among the main questions of the workers there were the loading of production workshops and the payment of wages.
In his speech, Oleksandr Skakun expressed hope for a quick recuperation of the previous level of production facilities level. “I can confidently say that the plant “Electrotyazhmash” has been saved. We have come a long way with you and made this step into the future. By merger of two large enterprises, we have obtained a powerful company whose products will be able to compete on world markets,” – the head of KhRSA said.
“We are confidently entering the next year with an understanding for whom to produce products. There is a lot of work ahead, but the most important step has already been taken – the large enterprise “Ukrainian Energy Machines” begins a new global life. Our task today is to load the plant in all directions by 100%. We know how to do this, we understand with whom we need to sign contracts, so the plant will be fully loaded,” Oleksandr Skakun concluded.
In turn, Viktor Subotin confirmed that active work is now underway to find new customers and extend previous contracts. “We held negotiations with customers and agreed to sign a contract for the production of traction equipment - 1728 engines ЭД-118, the contract amount will be about 1.1 billion UAH. This will allow us to load the production of traction power for the next year. Since December, we have been assembling raw materials and materials for signed contracts in order to start shipping equipment in January. In addition, we will load the generator production. In addition, we will load the generator production,” – Viktor Subotin said.
Regarding the payment of wages, he said that the debt for part of October is 11 million UAH and the debt for November will be paid, but it will take some time. Viktor Subotin also stressed that over the past three months, 78 million UAH has been forwarded to resolve this issue: “This is the money that “Ukrainian Energy Machines” transferred to support the employees of “Electrotyazhmash” even before the merger of two enterprises.”
“We are confidently moving forward towards our common goal – to renew production and create powerful competition in the global power engineering market. I am confident that it is within our power. Everything will be fine,” – the General Director of “Ukrenergymachines” summed up.
