The scientific and technical center “Turbooptimum” is opened at “KhPI”

The opening of the scientific and technical center “Turbooptimum” took place at the Department of Turbine Engineering of the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”

Rector of NTU “KhPI” Yevgeny Sokol, vice-rector Magomedemin Hasanov, teachers and students of the department, as well as representatives of leading organizations took part in the opening of the center. JSC “Turboatom” was represented by the head of the Human Resources Department Gennady Kyrychenko.

The center was created to support scientific, inventive and other creative activities, the interaction of young scientists, the development of their intellectual potential and cohesion. The room is equipped with modern multimedia equipment; here you can conduct various interactive lectures and master classes. Also, this center will become a platform for the opening of the student club of the same name. The capabilities of this complex include: design and optimization of axial turbines, axial compressors and axial blades, design and analysis of cycles of steam turbine plants, and others. A wide range of features will allow you to get the designed product with greater efficiency.

The Department of Turbine Engineering thanked “Turboatom” for its support and assistance in the creation of the center.
