Delegation of Donetsk National Technical University

Fourteen February 2020, students and lecturers of Donetsk National Technical University visited Joint Stock Company “Turboatom”.

Lecturers, students and postgraduates from the faculties of computer science and technology, engineering, ecology and chemical technology, as well as the faculty of computer-integrated technologies, automation, electrical engineering and radio electronics, were involved in this visit.

During a visit of “Turboatom” enterprise, partnership and cooperation agreement was signed between Joint Stock Company “Turboatom” and Donetsk National Technical University. The subject of the contract is obligation of the parties to cooperate on educational, educational and methodological, research works, to conduct mutual exchange of experience in order to improve quality of training of specialists, consolidation of theoretical knowledge and its practical application. Main areas of cooperation will be:

• advanced training and probation of scientific and pedagogical and engineering workers;
• joint organization of scientific and scientific-technical conferences, symposia, seminars;
• cooperation in research and development and design-technological work;
• attracting leading specialists of the enterprise to educational process;
• attracting scientific and pedagogical workers of the university to solve production tasks of the enterprise.

Much attention was paid to employment of graduates of DonNTU at the enterprise. Head of Human Resources Department Genadiy Kirychenko spoke in detail about requirements for candidates for employment, the most demanded specialties of the enterprise, career prospects for young specialists, social support and opportunities for comprehensive development of engineering personnel.

An interesting event for our guests was a visit of production workshops of the enterprise. Everyone was impressed by technical equipment and product samples of “Turboatom”.
