Sport complex

Sports complex “Turbinist” was commissioned in 1976. To date, complex is one of the best among sports facilities of industrial enterprises in Kharkiv.
Athletes of physical culture team take leading positions in sports competitions of regional committee of trade union of machine-building and metalworking workers, Kharkiv regional physical culture and sports society “Ukraine”, city competitions among enterprises and companies of Kharkiv region “Battle of corporations”.
Annual sports review-competition among workshops and departments of “UKRAINIAN ENERGY MACHINES” JSC for the best organization of sports and mass work has already become traditional.
Over the years of its work, team has trained many athletes who are the pride not only of “UKRAINIAN ENERGY MACHINES” JSC, but also of Kharkiv region, Ukraine.
Pupils of the sports sections of rock climbing, badminton, basketball have repeatedly become winners and prize-winners of world, European and national championships.
At present, all conditions have been created at SC “Turbinist” for systematic physical education and sports for employees of “UKRAINIAN ENERGY MACHINES” JSC, their family members, as well as for all those who wish to do so.
There is opportunity to practice such sports as badminton, basketball, bodybuilding, volleyball, table tennis, football, social dancing, fitness and others.
